Hannah Light here! I studied public health at Wayne State University and got my bachelors in Public Health because I’ve always been drawn to advocacy, nonprofit work, and keeping people safe. I’ve also always loved creativity and the way stories connect us. I have spent as long as I can remember trying to understand people in a way that goes deeper than the surface, and that’s something I want to dig into here.
I’m stepping into journalism so I can highlight real people, real conversations, and real community moments. I interview people who inspire me, who make me think, and who remind me why I love life.
At the end of the day, I want this space to stand for all people and for every voice to feel welcome here. Here to give light to people in the dark.
